AUSTIN, TX - The Texas Association of Builders is honored to announce that Hillwood Residential is the winner of the 2008 Star Awards’ Best Direct Mail Piece - Developer category. The award was presented during the Star Awards Gala held at the Gaylord Texan, Resort in Grapevine, Texas during the 2008 Sunbelt Builders Show™.

The highly-coveted Star Awards are given annually to recognize excellence in home building, remodeling, sales & marketing, and development. Entrants submitted their best work for consideration in this year’s competition.

A 2008 calendar was developed around all of the developers’ high profile projects. Each month showcased a different community in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market and abroad. Photographs of amenities and dramatic entrances were used throughout. The calendar was mailed to over 1,000 realtors in the DFW area.
